Rhapsody’s Going Insane! Giving Away Free Music
posted by The Dark Prince
So, I use Rhapsody. I use it a lot. Everyday, actually. For hours on end. I don’t know what I ever did without it. Before I would just listen to the music I had already bought and owned outright, and when I got an urge to try something new without buying, I’d cruise the MySpaces for the good, the bad, and the just plain ugly music.
Then I got Rhapsody, and then I started listening to 2-3 albums a day. Then I busted out the ol’ calculator, and realized that if I had bought all the music I was listening to, I’d have spent hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars, for music I probably wouldn’t listen to more than a couple of times.
That’s why I like Rhapsody–$14.95 a month, versus hundreds or even thousands. For me, at least, I don’t know, maybe you just listen to the same damn Justin Timberlake song over and over again on repeat all fucking day. For those that need a little more than JT can put out, Rhapsody’s cool.
And they just announced that they’re going to be selling MP3 music to non-subscribers, and to promote it, they’re “giving an MP3 album to everyone who registers (for free) before July 4.”
So there ya go, July 4 I’ll be in Orlando watching ZeaLouS1 perform live on stage, but you, you can download ZeaLouS1’s The Living Epitaph from Rhapsody for FREE! If you don’t have it, which is just sad in and of itself, now you have no excuse.
