Hard to Be Bold If You’re Not Here

You may have heard us talk a little about cell phones on this past show, and my dilemma in picking up a new one after the fateful fall and break of my Helio Ocean this summer, and that I was seriously thinking about picking up an iPhone. I made an appointment, on-line, which should show you that I’m serious. But, when I went to go the the Apple store here in Carlsbad, CA, I somehow got it in my head that it was in a shopping center that it really was not. This was either a sign from above that I should not own an iPhone, or a swift kick in the pants that I should really get an iPhone that has the new GPS features so I know where the hell I’m going.

To tell you the truth, I’ve really been waiting for the Blackberry Bold, because, well, it’s all business in a sexy suit, and that’s really what I’m all about. When I’m out in the field, doing managerial work for ZeaLouS1, I need to know that I can get the job done, whatever that may entail. I need my e-mail on me at all times, because you never know when some VIP wants to collab, and I need 3G Internet access to access the MySpaces because adding fans is very important, and I really do need my GPS with turn-by-turn driving directions so that I can get Z1 to the venue on time. I think the Bold does all of this, and possibly much better than the iPhone, so that’s why I’m going to continue to wait it out.

I might not have to wait that long, as according to reports, Best Buy has it in it’s system to drop October 26. If I can get it by the first week of November, I’m sold, if not, then I guess I’ll settle for the iPhone, which isn’t too much of a trade off.
