We’re sorry!
Really guys, we are, we had technical difficulties once again while attempting to broadcast from Churchill’s Pub & Grille in San Marcos, CA. This time we came damn close to pulling it off, but in the end we just couldn’t get it going live for you. But, as promised, we did record the show, including the live performance by ZeaLouS1!
Our apologies to Raven Sorvino, who drove down all the way from LA to be on the bill, and who only got to perform a couple of songs at the tail end of the night. Unfortunately we weren’t able to record her performance, but we definitely recommend heading over to her MySpace and downloading her latest album, Real Fresh, completely free of charge. Really, it has the official Takeover stamp of approval, so you know it has to be awesome.

why the fuck is david archuleta a fuckin ad on the website? Is it just me or doesn’t anybody else just want to punch him in his face? Seriously, I look at that face and it annoys me! I want to punch him in his face….sorry for venting….i’m currently stressing out over school.

If David Archuleta wants to pay for a giant freaking picture of his ass to be placed at the top of this site, I would take his money. All $9.55 of it, which is what SoBe costs us each week.

Yeah, sometimes you have to right-click and hit “Update Podcast” a couple of times before it starts to download. I’m not sure why it does that, we use an ancient version of podPress that Silent D. installed, and I’m afraid to touch/upgrade/replace it.

yeah, podpress is stupid in that I’m afraid to touch it too because then suddenly the new version doesn’t work and I have to go revert back to the old one and hope it the old one still works. I’ll see if I can update that today.

Oh, wait. I forgot I updated the podpress a while back when you gave me the access to the bluehost account. There hasn’t been a new release since 8.8 which is what we have. DP, you should just go to the Feed/iTunes settings tab in PodPress and scroll down and click on Ping iTunes Update. That will make it so that iTunes updates it faster.
