I never played Fallout, or Fallout 2, but I remember it being a lot more, I don’t know, RPG-ish. Maybe I’m thinking of another game, because this looks like an amped version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, now with more exploding body parts. It’s actually a really cool little intro into the gameplay footage, but I thought for sure the family and host would burn in 10,000 degrees of waves of fire, ala Terminator. Eh, maybe they’re saving that for the game.

I found Front’s big happy grin staring at me on my monitor just now while browsing ValleyWag. I read ValleyWag for the gossip, even though I don’t live in the Valley, which is why I need a website to keep me up on all the gossip. Anyway, the post was about the “big” Nerdcore 4 Life screening in San Francisco next week, but, strangely enough, the video clip attached was an interview for Front’s Nerdcore Rising. Can you believe Nerdcore is so unheard of in the Bay Area that they don’t know the difference between the two films? That’s like XXL Magazine mixing up the 2Pac and Biggie biopics. For shame. (For the record, we support Nerdcore Rising, even though we’re in Nerdcore for Life. Yeah, figure that one out.)

The clip is pretty cool, pretty chill. I think that Slutsky chick interviewed ZeaLouS1 in Las Vegas at CES way back when. Check it out:

Eventful.com has a contest going where the band that has the most Demands (and are entered in the contest, yeah, I’m looking at you Paramore, sneaky bastards) by September 23 gets $5,000 and a couple of guitars. Sure, they have to use that money to perform in the city that Demanded the winning band the most times, but we’ve put on pretty decent shows for next to nothing in the past, so I’m betting we’d have enough left over to do something crazy, like rent an elephant for the weekend. Wouldn’t that be fucking sick? Screw the limo, I want Z1 arriving by ELEPHANT! That would be beyond rock star, that’d be Michael Jackson status, right there.
