Vote (Even If They Say You Can’t)

You all know what tomorrow is, so the last thing I wanted to put up about the election is a link to this Wired.com article about what to do if you get to the poll and the nice gentleman or miss at the polls tells you that you can’t vote. Because you can. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.
If you know that you registered before your state’s deadline, and that you fulfill every voter requirement, then “Federal law requires states to allow voters to cast a provisional ballot if a voter claims he registered before the state’s registration deadline and is eligible to vote.”
So if you have trouble tomorrow, use that information in the article to get your vote counted.

Last Day to Register Cali!

California! Today is the last day to register to vote in our great state! If you haven’t registered to vote, do it! I helped my 72 year old grandfather, and my 20 year old sister register to vote for the first time in both of their lives, so you know it’s important. Find some info here on how to register today from SD’s local newspaper, and get out there so you can vote on November 4.

Last Day to Register!

Hey everyone, today is the last day to register to vote in many, many states, so I wanted to make one last push to get everyone to sign up! Check out the handy little schedule over at RockTheVote.com to see when the last day to register in your state is, if it isn’t today (California’s deadline is October 20). If you haven’t registered, you can do so from the RockTheVote.com website, you take a few minutes and make sure your vote will count November 4!
